Terms of Use

1- Disclaimer.

Sunwai.sbp.org.pk is the official portal managed by State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) with the purpose described here on the Portal. While due care is taken to provide error free information, communication and optimal service - neither SBP nor any of its subsidiaries would be responsible for events and incidents that might occur when you are using this Portal.

2- Definitions.

System or Portal: means the Web Portal Sunwai.sbp.org.pk and its underlying technical, administrative and functional components including any mobile App used to access the System.
User: means any person or entity accessing the Portal for its intended purpose.

3- Terms and Conditions.

1. Please read these terms & conditions carefully before using the System
2. These terms and conditions take effect upon the User’s checking the checkbox mentioning “I have read the given Terms and Conditions and accepted it.” provided on the login screen.
3. By accepting these terms and conditions, the user acknowledges and admits that he/she has read, understood and agreed to these terms and conditions.
4. These terms and conditions once accepted shall be irrevocable and shall remain legally enforceable and binding without any limitation. By continuing to use the System the User will be deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions.
5. If you use our Service through the portal or SBP’s given App, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to these Terms and Condition.
6. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the “Islamic Republic of Pakistan”.
7. SBP controls and maintains the System from Pakistan and SBP makes no representation that the material and information contained herein is appropriate or available for use in other locations/jurisdictions.
8. The User is liable for responsible use of the system and will ensure in entirety to comply with the principles of “Due Care” and “Due Diligence”, while using it.
9. This Service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.
10. The acceptance of the terms and conditions also extends to any connected SBP System/Module that the User may have accessed through the hyperlinks available in the System.
11. The User is responsible for carrying out all necessary checks, verification and validation, while working on the System and at the time of uploading data, information and contents in this System and ensure to the maximum possible extent that the same is true, relevant, accurate, complete and reliable for its intended use, as well as being safe from viruses and/or malware.
12. The System, and any upgrades thereto, is the property of the SBP and copying of the System is expressly forbidden. SBP may modify or update the System as it deems necessary from time to time.
13. The terms and conditions of accessing and using the Portal will be applicable to all Users and visitors of the Portal.
14. The Portal usage may be ceased, stopped, and/or prevented, and/or ended temporarily or permanently in case of any violation - partially or gross - on the part of any User or if there are good reasons to believe that any User has violated the terms and conditions of usage.
15. Users are not allowed to violate or attempt to violate the applicable procedures and regulations.
16. The violations include but are not limited to the following:

i. Use of Portal for other than the intended purpose
ii. Accessing details that are not intended to be provided to the User or logging into a server or an account that the User is not authorized to access.
iii. Attempting to conduct any screening, testing or scanning for finding vulnerabilities of the Portal, its components, System or network of the SBP
iv. Violating applicable procedures or documenting them without an official permission.
v. Attempting to interfere in the provided service on the part of any User, host or network including but not limited to injecting/placing a malware in the Portal
vi. Perpetrating any undesirable action such overwhelmingly increasing load to the Portal, servers, sending unwanted messages to it or avalanching it with sessions, communication requests or even destroying it.
vii. Attempting to deface the Portal or any of its systems components.
viii. Using the Portal, its services or selling/reselling or offering for commercial benefit or use
ix. Imparting any untrue/unfair news or information about the Portal and ascribing it to the SBP unrightfully.

17. Any User violating the given terms and conditions shall be proceeded under applicable laws for civil and criminal liability.
18. Cases of such violations and the User involved shall be subject to investigations, prosecutions and legal actions.
19. The Portal’s use is free of charge and with no commercial interest to SBP, its subsidiaries and the participant Banks/Financial Institutions.
20. SBP and/or its subsidiaries do not hold any responsibility against any damages, costs and expenses, related to any violation of the conditions of using this Portal by the User or by any other person acting on his behalf.
21. SBP reserves all rights to deny or restrict, modify or discontinue access to any particular feature/s that are part of the Portal at any time, without enduring any responsibility or attributing reasons whatsoever.
22. Just like many other web portals, websites and mobile Apps, SBP’s complaint portal use “session” and “persistent” cookies for different information, these cookies may collect non-identifying and identifiable information.
23. This information and that contained in the network communication between your web browser and Mobile App may be used for Analytics, related purposes of this system and any other lawful purpose by SBP.
24. Network communications taking place with this system may be scanned by SBP’s network security system or any other government-owned organization authorized to perform such scan, to identify and protect its system from any known or suspected malicious cyber activity, including malicious content or communications.
25. SBP may use monitoring, logging and analytics to improve the performance and security of the System.
26. The information and data submitted on the System is collected for official internal purposes and may be shared with any law enforcement authorities, if suspicious activities are detected and the circumstances warrant so, in accordance with applicable law, rules and regulations.
27. At any time, SBP may, for any purpose capture, monitor, intercept, search and/or seize any communication or data transiting or stored on the System or disclose or use for any purpose as deemed necessary.
28. The portal and Mobile App does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you.
29. The User will keep his/her authentication credentials confidential and will not share with anyone.
30. If the User knows or suspects that, his/her credentials have been stolen, disclosed or compromised, the User is advised to inform immediately through helpdesk at complaints.portal@sbp.org.pk or call at Ext: 021-111727111.
31. The User will not share content/data without due authorization.
32. Users are advised to visit the Portal from time to time to check the revised terms and conditions.
33. Unless otherwise stated, any intellectual property rights arising in respect of the System's design, text, graphics, its selection and arrangement, software and all other material (the 'Content') , belong to SBP.
34. Copying or use of such intellectual property rights or software in part or full is not permitted, without the prior approval of the intellectual property owner, unless expressly allowed under these terms and conditions.
35. We may update our Terms and Conditions from time to time with or without any explicit notification. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes.
